Barbecue and Chili Cookoff January 16 - 17

There are two cookoff events scheduled for the Burnet area this weekend.

On January 16 and 17, 2015, The Lone Star Barbecue Society is hosting their Cooker of the Year cookoff at the Burnet County Fairgrounds. No membership is required and entry fee for meat is $85. Pilot Knob Winery is hosting a chili cookoff on Saturday, January 17, 2015.
